Bugfix race condition in IO-Link stack with (Raspberry PI with MAX18419 transceiver)
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am looking for a skilled developer to help me fix a race condition in the RT-Labs i-link (IO-Link) stack: https://github.com/rtlabs-com/i-link. The stack is written in C and is running on a Raspberry Pi. IO-Link is connected over a extension board using a MAX18419 transceiver.
Porting has been done, however, a race condition shows up at startup 1 out of 2 time. I have added logging to the startup sequence that may help identify the problem, although this logging may not be complete.
A sample setup and the toolchain can be provided (either as remote access or physically).
Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in C programming
- Experience with IO-Link stacks and protocols
- Knowledge of Raspberry Pi and MAX18419 transceiver
- Understanding of race conditions and debugging techniques
