Blind spot detection system

Project description:
This project will design a detection system for the blind spot using a camera to monitor the blind spot and detect the existence of cars, bicycles, pedestrians, and others. The system should utilize a Raspberry PI, a camera, and the Open-CV image and video processing library.
The system shall define the camera's location on the car body and notify the driver when an object is detected in the blind spots
A simulated object shall be introduced to show where to install the camera and to present the working demo

Tasks:
⚫ Wiring and installing of the camera, RPI, camera, and power supply • Provide a complete software system analysis:
Develop UML diagrams:
Use case diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc. Note: these diagrams must consider all the possible scenarios.
⚫ Develop the software using Open-CV to detect the objects in the blind spot and print a message on a GUI to notify the driver, and an LED on the mirror with a buzzer should be added for notification
