Automated Chemical Level Monitoring and Notification System
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am seeking an experienced developer to build an automated monitoring system using an ESP32 module. The system will manage two 100-liter stainless steel tanks; one for acid and the other for lye. The objective is to:
Monitor Chemical Levels: Implement level sensors or scales in each tank to monitor the volume of chemicals. The system should detect when the chemical level reaches a predefined minimum threshold.
Control and Display Interface: Utilize an ESP32 to process the sensor data, control the system, and interface with a basic display. The display should indicate which chemical is low—acid or lye.
Notification Mechanism: Send alerts or display notifications when it's time to refill either tank.
Deliverables:
Hardware design and setup that includes integration of the ESP32 with level sensors/scales and a display.
Software development for data acquisition, processing, and user interface on the display.
A prototype that demonstrates the functionality.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in microcontroller programming, preferably with ESP32.
Experience in interfacing sensors with microcontrollers.
Ability to design and implement basic electronic displays.
Project Outcome: A functional prototype that automates the monitoring of chemical levels in the tanks and provides timely notifications for refilling.
