Account Hijack Prevention Program Development -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I'm looking for a professional to guide me via Freelancer.coms Screensharing feature (if the video call feature allows people to swap to a screenshare, if not, please add this feature) through the process of creating a program that can detect and counter instances where an individuals accounts, particularly game accounts, have been hijacked. The program is intended to run on both Windows and Linux operating systems, and I have a preference for using Python, C, C++ or C# in its development.
Key Features:
Account Monitoring:
The program must securely be able to monitor login activity on the users accounts to detect any unauthorized access.
Denying Access:
It must have the functionality to automatically deny access to the account when unauthorized activity is detected, i.e. a login from a different IP Address or location other then the users phones IP Address, or home WiFi, or Ethernets connections IP Address.
Account Hijack Interception:
The program must have the automated ability to ban any access from an IP address that isn't the users device on the network if it detects any and all suspicious activity.
Account Login Trust:
The program must have the option for the user to tick a box to allow the program to save the IP Address of the users device by automatically opening its app up on the users phones (yes I intend to develop this for iOS and Android as well) or PCs. This allows the user to save the IP Address of their device in the program so it recognizes that the device is trusted the next time they log in to it.
Master Vault:
Just like BitWarden (love you, BitWarden ???), the program must require the user to login using a Master Password.
Forgot Master Password:
The program must have the functionality to allow for Master Password resets in the event that the user forgets their Master Vault Login, by sending the user an email, or require them to use a device unlock type.
Login Type:
The program must have the added functionality of a, the use of a Fingerprint, or b, the use of a pattern, or c, the device unlock password, or d, the use of Facial Recognition, or e, an Email Address, or f, the use of the devices 4 or more digits pin, or e, any combination of these, as these security measures will enhance the security of the Master Vault.
The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of cybersecurity, a strong experience in developing programs with Python, C, C++ and C#, and the ability to guide a less experienced individual like myself, because I can only code small programs, through the development process. Experience in knowing what is, and developing account security systems is a plus.
The program needs to be simple and have no bugs.
This program will no longer be Open Source, and candidates for this project are required to sign both a Non-Disclosure, and Intellectual Property Agreements (which will be purchased from Freelancer at a later time).
The reason is, security companies and contractors might take a serious liking to this project, wherein they probably want to buy it.
Attached are examples of images of my Riot Games (which has been saved) and Ubisoft accounts being hijacked with their 2FAs bypassed.
This could happen to you, so when this program gets released, you'll know what to do ?.
Thank you.
