Write an email negotiating my pay and job title
Budget: ₹1,000 – ₹1,500 INR
I have got a offer letter of intent with 2 months probation period. If i successfully complete the probation then the pay and benefits will be discussed. I have two issues here.
1. The pay offered for probation 30 dollar/hour is too low ( I have told them i am have been getting offers from50- 80 dollar/hour) I want it to be at least dollar (at the same time not sounding like i am already negotiating my pay for which i will wait until I complete the probation. also I want to make sure they are willing to match my expectations after probation)
2. Job title says "Business support associate". I have come from 15 years managerial and operational roles and expecting to grow into senior management role in this startup. although I lack the technical skills (which I will learn during probation) for this job profile but I was selected for the very reason that I will bring a different perspective. So I want to make sure I get a better job title which reflects my ambitions.
all this while letting them know that i am very much interested in the job offer and willing to accept.
