Identify the major problem(s) and avoid confusing symptoms with the problem(s) in a brief 1-2 paragraph section.
Utilize analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis tools, in the analysis section to examine all critical data, evaluate alternatives, and discuss pros and cons of each alternative.
Provide a balanced and unbiased perspective, note relevant situation factors, and discuss risks involved with the decision.
The recommendation section should be explicit, concise, and decisive, avoiding words such as "maybe" and "possibly".
Briefly explain the rationale for choosing each recommendation, providing adequate qualitative and quantitative analysis, and discussing contingency plans if applicable.
Keep in mind critical issues such as availability of capital, financial risk, and competitor reactions.
The report should be grammatically correct, concise, and clear, avoiding summarizing case facts.
Recommendations should not propose non-economically feasible or non-marketing alternatives, such as buying Google or investing in the lottery.
The report will be graded based on the thoughtfulness and insight provided by the analysis and how well recommendations reflect the analysis.
