I have spent the last four years working as a Recruiter handling executive-level searches, yet the skills and competencies section of my résumé still doesn’t do my expertise justice. I’d like a fresh pair of eyes to rewrite that section so the wording is punchy, specific, and clearly tied to measurable value I bring to employers.
Here’s what matters to me:
• The language should demonstrate full-cycle recruiting know-how—sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation—without reading like a generic checklist.
• Soft skills such as stakeholder management and candidate experience need to shine alongside technical tools I use daily (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms like Greenhouse and Workday, plus Boolean search techniques).
• Each competency should feel outcome-oriented; if a metric or brief example strengthens the point, weave it in naturally.
Deliverable: a polished skills & competencies section that I can drop straight into my current résumé (Word format), plus a brief note explaining any phrasing choices so I can adapt them later.
