Plain-Language Instructions for ROI Decision Tools

Job ID: 40113281

Budget: €12 – €18 EUR

I need a copywriter who can turn complex decision-support functions—think ROI calculations, cost-benefit rankings, and prioritization matrices—into crisp, helpful micro-copy right inside the product. The work centres on in-tool instructions, onboarding hints, and quick explanations that guide business users to the right decisions without ever feeling sold to.

You’ll be writing for decision-makers who rely on numbers but don’t want to wade through jargon. Every word should focus on usability: what the feature does, why it matters, and how to interpret the output. No hype, no storytelling—just clear, plain business English that makes trade-offs obvious.

Deliverables I’ll ask for on a rolling basis:
• Tooltip and helper text (≤ 200 characters each)
• Step-by-step onboarding flows with concise headings and body copy
• Contextual “Why this ranking?” blurbs explaining ROI logic in ≤ 120 words

Acceptance criteria:
• Language must be free of marketing tone; reads like a knowledgeable colleague explaining a spreadsheet.
• Each piece fits the given character limits and solves the specific user question “What does this number mean?”
• Final copy is supplied in a simple doc or spreadsheet, ready for product upload.

If you’re comfortable translating formulas and business logic into everyday language and can share a few relevant samples, let’s get started.
