Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a professional grant writer with a strong understanding of mental health issues and funding opportunities in the nonprofit sector. The objective is to secure funding to enhance our suicide prevention and supportive services by establishing a 24/7 hotline.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in grant writing and proposal development
- In-depth understanding of mental health and suicide prevention
- Proven track record of securing funding for nonprofit services
- Excellent research skills to identify potential funding sources
- Ability to articulate our mission and the need for these services in a compelling manner
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with funding requirements
- Outstanding written communication skills to craft persuasive and coherent proposals
- Experience in preparing and justifying budgets for grant proposals
- Skills to define and measure the impact of funded projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with our team to gather necessary information and insights
The successful freelancer will be able to help us articulate our need for round-the-clock support, and the impact this service could have on our community. The proposal should be designed to appeal to a range of potential funders, from government bodies to private philanthropists.
Describe the new service or program to be implemented with the CRDF, including demographics of populations to be served & specific program components.
- How will this differ from your existing services or provide an enhancement to those in place already?
- How will your organization manage a “No Eject, No Reject” referral basis?
- How will this project benefit the residents of Middlesex County?
- Include how your organization will staff this project, hours of operation, staff qualifications, staff to child ratios, length of the program, days & hours of the week, etc.
- How will this newly funded or expansion of services be announced to the community?
- How will you demonstrate equitable access of the proposed activity or service?
(Assurance of equitable access of the services/supports to the identified population: Services/supports should be equitably accessible to all youth & families with the identified needs. The referral process should ensure equitable access to services or supports for the youth & families that are eligible to receive them & the access process should be free from any form of discrimination.)
Describe the measurable outcomes of this proposed service (i.e. behavior changes, social/skills developed, etc.). Mid & final program evaluations will be required along with summaries of progress to be used for social media purposes, etc.
- Please include timelines for indicators.
- Include a quality assurance/outcome monitoring plan. This should detail what monitoring process will be used to ensure consistent high quality service provision, & what tools will be used to show a measure of improvement or benefit to the individuals served. Tools may include satisfaction surveys, attendance counts, or other specific tools, etc.
Attach a proposed budget for this project including line items, & total costs brief line-item narrative. Providers will be paid based on service utilization; invoicing should be submitted on a quarterly basis excluding the first quarter. Invoicing for this quarter will begin at the start of services provided.
Looking to add service of suicide prevention and supportive Servies and also juvenile justice intervention
two different proposals needed.
The proposal should aim to secure funding of as least $10000 for each.
The grant proposal should follow our specific format.
