Systems Administrator (E-Learning & Masterminds)

Job ID: 40159145

Budget: $2 – $8 CAD

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator to manage the technical "backbone" of our education startup. You will be responsible for ensuring our course platforms are lightning-fast, our mastermind communication hubs are secure, and our data is protected. Your goal is to make sure our technology never gets in the way of our students' learning.

Key Responsibilities
Performance & Uptime: Manage our hosting environment (AWS/DigitalOcean/Google Cloud) to ensure 99.9% uptime, especially during high-traffic launch windows.

Platform Maintenance: Oversee the backend of our LMS (Learning Management System), ensuring plugins, databases, and APIs are updated and functioning.

Security & Backups: Implement "fail-safe" backup protocols and security headers to protect our proprietary course content from piracy and data breaches.

Email Deliverability: Manage DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to ensure our transactional emails (login links, invoices) and marketing blasts reach the inbox.

Access Management: Automate the granting and revoking of access to our private communities (Discord/Slack), course portals, and live call links.

Internal Tools: Manage the company’s internal "stack" (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack) to ensure the team can collaborate securely.

Required Skills
Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience with [insert your choice: AWS, Vultr, DigitalOcean, or WP Engine].

Database Management: Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL (essential for keeping student progress data safe).

Security: Deep understanding of SSL/TLS, firewalls (Cloudflare), and DDoS protection.

Integrations: Experience with Zapier, Make, or custom Webhooks to connect payment processors (Stripe/PayPal) with our delivery platforms.

The "Launch" Mindset: Ability to be "on-call" during high-stakes marketing launches to monitor server loads in real-time.
