Consultant Needed – Food Business / Restaurant Strategy (Must be in Karachi - Location in DHA Ph 5)
We are seeking an experienced freelance consultant with a background in the food / restaurant industry to help a small, dhaba-style restaurant in Karachi DHA Phase 5.
Scope of Work:
- Review current business operations, menu, and pricing strategy
- Deep review of receipts, expenses, sales including 1-2 day in-person evaluation
- Provide practical recommendations to improve food quality, efficiency, and customer experience
- Advise on branding, positioning, and growth strategy
- Suggest actionable ideas to increase revenue and customer retention
- Must be able to provide on-site visit(s) if based in Karachi
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in restaurant management, food business consulting, or hospitality
- Familiarity with local dining culture, especially casual/dhaba-style setups
- Strong understanding of cost control, menu engineering, and customer experience
- Ability to provide clear, actionable, and realistic recommendations
Engagement Details:
- Short-term consulting project (with potential for ongoing advisory role)
- Provide summary of evaluation and findings in written report
- Flexible hours; partial remote possible, but local presence needed for at least 2 in person visits
