Business Strategy Expert for Book Review
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Seeking a reviewer with a VERY STRONG business strategy background to review my non-fiction book manuscript, "The Business of Cyber Security."
This is the single most important requirement: deep, demonstrable expertise in business strategy. Ideal candidates have backgrounds such as management consulting (e.g., strategy firms), corporate strategy/corporate development, MBA-level strategy training, or senior operating/strategy roles. Familiarity with the cybersecurity industry is a strong plus but secondary to strategic rigor.
The book:
- "The Business of Cyber Security" - manuscript is complete and currently being edited. The transcript/text is done.
What I need from the reviewer:
- A critical strategic review of the book's arguments, frameworks, and business logic
- Assessment of whether the strategic concepts are sound, well-structured, and credible to a senior business audience
- Identification of gaps, weak arguments, or areas that need stronger evidence or sharper framing
- Feedback on positioning, target-audience fit (executives, corporate development, M&A, cybersecurity leaders), and overall persuasiveness
- A written review/report with clear, actionable recommendations (not line editing or copyediting)
To clarify: this is a strategic/content review, NOT proofreading or copyediting.
When applying, please describe your specific business strategy experience and share relevant examples or credentials.
