In this project, the optimal strategies for automatic warehouse aisle-related pallet rearrangements are to be worked out on the basis of various criteria. The aim should be to examine different configurations of LHD-Systems (load handling device) and storage depths and to work out possible rearrangement strategies based on given criteria. The developed strategies should then be summarized in classes or groups in order to provide the user with a better overview and also to simplify the selection options.
The results will serve as a basis for the simulation and are to be presented accordingly in numbers or formulas. The first configuration is 1 LHD/double deep. If the results are satisfying, further configurations will be added.
