We are seeking a freelance technical document writer with expertise in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and business planning to support various areas of our diverse business operations. Our company operates across multiple sectors, including Security & Investigations, Software Development, Marketing and Design Development, Risk Management, Registered Training Organisations (RTO) Training, and Software as a Service (SaaS) systems. Our project entails a comprehensive review and update of our existing IMS, which encompasses frameworks for ISO certifications in Quality, Safety, and Information Security, with an additional focus on integrating Environment ISO policies and procedures due to our new service offerings.
Key Requirements:
- Conduct a thorough review and update of our current IMS to ensure it reflects our new services and aligns with the latest ISO certifications, including Quality, Safety, Information Security, and Environment.
- Develop two new service-specific business plans and ensure these are cohesively aligned with the broader group strategy.
- Perform a full audit of all operational documentation to verify the presence and accuracy of essential policies, plans, and procedures across each department and operational area.
- Update existing documentation to fill any gaps identified during the audit process, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in developing, reviewing, and updating Integrated Management Systems, particularly with a focus on ISO certifications.
- Demonstrated ability in crafting comprehensive business plans, preferably with exposure to the sectors in which we operate (Security & Investigations, Software Development, Marketing and Design Development, Risk Management, RTO Training, SaaS systems).
- Proven track record of conducting detailed audits of operational documents and implementing necessary updates to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and suggest practical, innovative solutions.
