I am currently developing website and vital corresponding mobile applications that facilitate the service I intend to provide.It's essentially a tech based service.Business model of my startup is to fulfill alcohol orders place on the business website and user mobile app, by integrating the order with nearby vendor, process payment on our platforms already and automatically assigning a nearby registered delivery driver via website or the dedicated driver mobile application the alcohol is delivered to customers' doors in an hour or less.And this will be the gist of it.Companies with similar business model are:- www.doordash.com; www.saucey.com;www.SkipTheDishes.com.Most of the aforementioned companies predominantly focus on food delivery not alcohol but the model is the same.
Now, as a preferred candidate will have a very good grasp of the marketing strategies implemented, as well as possess profound knowledge of the sales & profit structure (formula) of such type of industry( Ondemand Food/Alcohol/Grocery) Delivery.
I know the service I want to render my customers,but I am not quite sure as to how these types of companies generate profit from the single transaction they conduct, and that is where you pitch in, you-the candidate- will contribute to the setting up and writing up the comprehensive Business plan that i could execute into the programming of the transaction processing on the mobile applications and the website when I launch the business shortly.
Please be advised that I would SOLELY be selecting candidates for interview with an MBA that have in-depth comprehension of the profit margin calculations, know how such business model earn their profit per sale; even better prospect will be, finding candidates who worked on exactly similar business model as business consultant/planner or what have you, and have portfolio to highlight these achievements;it just be an icing on the cake.If you don't have the aforementioned requirements, you are not good fit, and hence will not be reached.
