**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a passion for strategic financial management, coupled with a strong background in accounting and investor relations. This individual will be a key member of the senior management team, working closely with the CEO and other executives to align financial management with business objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement a robust financial strategy that supports the company’s business goals, including risk management and capital structure optimization.
- Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of all investor documentation with precision and attention to detail.
- Lead the financial planning process and provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial performance of the company to the board and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, providing insightful financial analysis to guide decision-making and business strategy.
- Secure the functionality of business through financial and operational strategies, as well as the development of operational budgets and financial forecasts.
- Network and connect with investors, cultivating relationships that facilitate funding opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations, maintaining impeccable records and documentation.
- Drive the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with the technology team to ensure that the financial systems are seamlessly integrated with our recruitment platform.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a CFO, finance officer, or relevant role, preferably within the technology or online services industry.
- Strong knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management practices, and a comprehensive understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting software.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability and strong business acumen.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is preferred.
**Desired Experience:**
- Experience in a growth-stage or scaling tech company is highly desirable.
- Previous involvement in a senior financial management role where you have developed strategies for improved financial performance.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with investors and securing funding.
