I am a Registered Mental Health nurse with over 18 years of experience in managing various care settings. I would like to open Supported Accommodation service for people diagnosed with mental health issues. I am located in Bournemouth, UK where there is a lack of this type of services. I need a strong business plan to be able to register the project with Care Quality Commission (CQC) as well as to be able to secure funding from NHS/ Local Authority.
I would like to start from 6-10 bedded property, with en-suite rooms. The cost per patient per week would range from £1000 up to £1600 and depend on assessed complexity of individual needs. The service would offer accommodation, rehabilitative activities, signposting to other mental health services (therapy access), and staged pathway to recovery.
