Interactive Excel Insight & BI Integration
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a dataset that needs to come alive inside Excel. Using Pivot Tables as the core engine, I want the workbook to surface trends, outliers and drill-down views that update automatically when fresh data is dropped in. On top of that, I’d like the same model—or its cleaned data layer—pulled into Power BI so I can compare the interactive experience between the two platforms and understand how each handles refreshes, slicers and visual storytelling.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Build the Excel file so every chart, KPI card and slicer is driven by well-structured Pivot Tables, not hard-coded ranges.
• Set up a companion Power BI report that mirrors the logic and lets me explore identical metrics there.
• Give me a short screen-share walkthrough (recorded is fine) explaining the steps, so I can practise the process myself later; I’m keen to develop stronger skills in SQL, Python, Tableau and the main Python data-viz libraries, so please highlight where similar thinking would transfer to those tools.
I’m a fresher, so clear explanations matter as much as polished deliverables. If you’ve helped newcomers before, mention it when you respond. A straightforward link to a sample Pivot-Table-driven dashboard or a live Power BI report will help me choose quickly.
I’ll mark the job complete when:
1. The Excel file accepts new rows in the source sheet and all visuals refresh correctly.
2. The Power BI report connects to the same data, refreshes without errors and reflects the same calculations.
3. Your walkthrough leaves me confident I can repeat the workflow on a new dataset.
Looking forward to collaborating and learning from you.
