I want to get my new perfume line onto local shelves quickly and cost-effectively. Your job is to open a distribution channel within my city by combining cold outreach with in-person visits to cafés and boutiques—the two store types I’m targeting right now.
Scope
• Research and create a short‐list of independent cafés and fashion or lifestyle boutiques that fit our brand image.
• Contact each lead by phone, e-mail, or social media to introduce the fragrances, highlighting their long-lasting, high-quality blend.
• Follow up with on-site visits where required, pitch consignment terms, and secure initial interest or trial agreements.
• Document every interaction in a simple tracker (store name, owner/manager, contact info, decision status, next step).
Deliverable
A concise report containing at least five venues willing to stock the perfume on consignment, complete with signed or e-mailed confirmations and the agreed percentage split.
I will provide product samples, a short pitch deck, and basic consignment guidelines. You bring your networking skills, persistence, and local market knowledge to open these first doors for the brand.
