Guangzhou Denim Manufacturing Insights

We are looking for a freelancer based in Guangzhou / Xintang with experience in the women’s denim industry to help us conduct local manufacturing and supply chain research.

Our company is developing a women’s denim brand focused on the Latin American market, and we are specifically interested in identifying factories and production ecosystems specialized in:
• women’s shaping denim
• premium stretch/recovery fabrics
• commercial skinny, flare, wide leg, and fashion fits
• premium washes and finishing
• medium-to-large scale production programs
• export-oriented manufacturers with experience in international markets

The objective of this project is NOT sourcing random factories from Alibaba. We are specifically looking for someone with real local industry knowledge and connections within the Guangzhou / Xintang denim ecosystem.

The ideal candidate may have experience as:
• denim merchandiser
• sourcing specialist
• QC inspector
• product developer
• factory coordinator
• wash house coordinator
• or someone with strong local apparel industry knowledge

Tasks may include:
• identifying factories specialized in this category
• researching production groups and wash houses
• conducting local communication/inquiries
• helping organize factory information and capabilities
• potentially arranging factory visits or introductions in the future

We are looking for a long-term relationship if the collaboration works well.
