Roles and Responsibilities:
Support project team in consulting assignments mainly for the exhibition industry across functions like market strategy – expanding in new /existing regions, portfolio analysis and M&A advisory
To conduct primary and secondary market research to assess trends/opportunities/ challenges for the new/ existing exhibitions across industries
To understand market dynamics – gross/ net space, visitor and exhibitor behaviour, venue potential, and industry vertical trends
Benchmarking competition shows
Target screening – company analysis through secondary and proven capability for delivering successful pitch
Identify various industry stakeholders (related to exhibition) to conduct primary interviews and get market insights
Collate and analyse market information for developing detailed reports, dashboards, business cases, and strategic recommendations for clients
Support in Business development activities - acquisition/ marketing/ pitch paper
Travel is required for conducting primary interview, acquisition meetings, etc
Qualification and Desired Skills:
Master’s degree in business administration with specialisation in marketing
1-2 years of relevant experience in consulting or research, preferably with exposure to events, exhibitions, or B2B media industry
Strong knowledge of the exhibition ecosystem – including organizer models, visitor-exhibitor dynamics, and show performance metrics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert data into strategic insights.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and market analysis tools.
Good communication skills
Willingness to travel
