HVAC Agency Feasibility Study

Job ID: 40086109

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

This project calls for a seasoned HVAC specialist to craft a board-ready business case and full financial feasibility study for a new trading and distribution venture. The document will form the backbone of exclusive agency negotiations with a leading international HVAC manufacturer, so every assumption, metric, and recommendation must stand up to executive and legal scrutiny.

Scope of work
• Market analysis – size, growth drivers, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment across our target territories.
• Financial projection – 3- to 5-year integrated P&L, cash-flow, and balance-sheet model with scenario testing, sensitivity analysis, and clear ROI metrics.
• Operational plan – channel strategy, supply-chain design, staffing matrix, warehouse footprint, and after-sales service framework, all benchmarked against HVAC industry best practice.

Key requirements
• Evidence-based methodology: primary and secondary data, cited sources, and transparent calculation sheets (Excel preferred).
• Concise narrative deck (PowerPoint) suitable for board presentation, supported by a detailed technical appendix.
• Executive summary highlighting how the proposed setup will strengthen our position in agency talks.

Acceptance criteria
The final deliverables must:
1. Align with Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and ASHRAE market definitions.
2. Present at least two alternative go-to-market scenarios, each with break-even analysis.
3. Demonstrate agency fit by mapping our capabilities to the manufacturer’s current channel gaps.
4. Include a risk register with mitigation strategies.

Timeline and collaboration
A preliminary outline is expected within one week of kickoff; full draft in four weeks, followed by a feedback cycle leading to sign-off. I will provide any internal data, previous sales figures, and branding guidelines at project start. Close communication via Zoom and tracked document iterations in Microsoft 365 will keep the process efficient.

If you have verifiable experience delivering market studies and financial models in HVAC, MEP, or adjacent industrial trading arenas, I look forward to reviewing your proposal and relevant samples.
