Business Central Manufacturing Workflow Fix

My manufacturing plant went live on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central about fifteen months ago and the honeymoon never came. Configuration gaps are now hurting daily operations, so I’m looking for a seasoned Business Central analyst who can diagnose the root causes and design clean, automated workflows that actually work for a shop floor environment.
Scope of the pain points
• Inventory management – stock levels refuse to update in real time and valuation reports never tie back to physical counts.
• Production planning – schedules drift away from demand, bottlenecks appear without warning, and several BOMs contain errors that cascade into work orders.
• Financial reporting – figures coming out of inventory and production don’t reconcile, so month-end closes drag on.
What I need from you
1. A rapid-fire health check of the current setup: posting groups, item journals, MRP/MPS parameters, BOM and routing structures, costing methods, and any extensions in play.
2. A clear remediation plan detailing how each issue will be fixed inside Business Central (AL code changes, configuration tweaks, or workflow automation).
3. Implementation of the approved fixes, fully tested in a sandbox, then promoted to production with minimal downtime.
4. Updated process documentation and a short hand-off session so my team can keep the system stable after you leave.
