I want do do Narrative review for my topic lung protective ventilation amongst ARDS patients

Job ID: 39855697

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Purpose
This assignment helps you transform your weekly annotated bibliographies into a
narrative review. The annotated bibliographies provide detailed summaries, critiques, and
reflections on individual papers. The final review asks you to synthesize those sources
into a connected narrative organized by concepts relevant to advanced mechanical
ventilation.
Instructions
1. Choose Your Topic
o Select 1–2 core topics from the course (e.g., weaning, noninvasive
ventilation, lung-protective strategies, sedation and synchrony).
o Narrow the focus to a specific disease, patient group, or clinical area (e.g.,
NIV in COPD, low tidal volume ventilation in ARDS).
2. Use Your Annotated Bibliographies
o Select at least 5–8 of the papers you already annotated during the course.
o These annotations will serve as your building blocks:
 Summary → informs your review’s background.
 Evaluation → contributes to your critique of the literature.
 Reflection → connects to practice implications.
3. Write Your Narrative Review (4-6 pages, double spaced)
o Introduction: Introduce the chosen topic and explain why it is clinically
relevant.
o Thematic Synthesis: Organize the selected studies into 2–4 themes or
concepts. Compare and contrast findings instead of listing papers one by
one.
o Critical Analysis: Discuss strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in knowledge o Implications for Practice: Explain how the findings inform management of
specific diseases or clinical decisions.
o Conclusion: Summarize what is known, what remains uncertain, and
directions for future research or practice.
4. References
o Use APA style.
