Now that you have a better understanding of Subscription Business Models, Services Companies, and B2B selling, it’s time to put it all together via a project to get your creative juices flowing, while encouraging you to do thorough research and understand all that goes into subscription business dynamics. It will enable you to understand how we interact with our customers and how our customers interact with their customers as well.

2.I would like for you to come up with a subscription service business of your own (on paper, of course). It could be a B2B or B2C business, but it should be mainly service based. It can be hybrid and include a product, but cannot be purely product. It can be something unique that you come up with, or it can be a business concept of something that already exists—whatever you prefer. Once you have decided on a topic, time to go all in! Make sure you think about, research, and write about all 5 of the topics they discuss in the article:
a.Who would be your target customer?
b.What would be your value proposition?
c.What would be your niche and how would you position yourself?
d.What might your business lifecycle look like?
e.What would your KPIs be and how would you define them?
Please note:
-The purpose of this is to get you accustomed to many of the different aspects that subscription businesses deal with. This will help you be more successful with research, selling, marketing, etc, because you’ll have a better understanding of what subscription business owners are facing (minus what’s on the super technical/IT side).
-I would like for you to try and write this as a coherent post or business report. Hence, it should not appear purely as though you are simply going through a list and answering questions. It should flooowww throughout each topic (though of course you can have headings and other section indicators throughout this report).
-I am not putting any word or page count on this, but it should be the length that you decide it should be for thoroughness required.
-I am also not putting a strict timeline on this, but I will check in with you daily to assess progress. [My hope is that, with this being your full focus, it should not take more than a week or two.]
