I need equity research report
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I want Two (2) listed companies of your own choice (preferably a large-cap or a mid-cap stock)
For each company:
Equity Research Model (in excel): A basic valuation model that covers the following:
- Forecast (high-level) income statement, balance, sheet & cash flow statement using the right business drivers
- Calculate target stock price using the DCF method and Relative Valuation method (P/E, P/B, etc.)
Please note: You do not need to create a detailed financial model. High-level forecasting is enough.
The financial data (historical income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and any specific ratio/data) can be obtained from the company website (Investor Relations section), or free financial database providers like Google Finance/ Yahoo Finance.
Equity Research Report (in word document): You have to write a detailed equity research report (referred to as an Initiation report) that should adequately cover:
- Business Drivers: Detailed analysis of key business drivers of the industry and that stock in particular
- Investment Thesis: Why do you believe the stock will over/underperform in the coming years? This section includes key catalysts for the company’s performance
- Recommendation and Target Price: Recommend buy/hold/sell and a 12-month target price for the stock
- Company Update: Any recent information, news, major contracts, management changes, or any other important information about the company.
- Financial Information & Valuation: Key section from your financial valuation model where you have forecasted statements (using business drivers) and calculated stock valuation.
- Risks: Key risks associated with the investment
- Disclaimers: Any other disclaimer you would want to share that would help the investor
The ideal number of pages: is 7-10 pages excluding tables and charts
