Our company is a provider of outsourced managed learning services to circa 30 large, blue-chip clients. We have seen 5 years of double-digit growth and need to ensure greater consistencies that lead to improved efficiencies, setting us up for future scalability. We are now undertaking a project to analyse our working practices to set us up for future growth and enable us to set optimum performance levels and add insight to our pricing practices. Brief – spend time with all client teams, supply chain team and apprenticeship team to analyse working practices, system usage and impact and all other associated activities undertaken in the provision of service to our clients.
The majority of the team is in the South West, we anticipate this will for the most part be done face to face with the exception of some dispersed teams so daily travel to Plymouth area should be factored in.
Required outcome:
By client, an analysis of the end to end learning management process for all aspects of the department
Deliverables:
• Time taken per administrative task/activity for client services, supply chain and apprenticeships
• Summary of internal system(s) effectiveness
• Summary (by client LMS and internal) of system(s) effectiveness
• Broken down into external and internal administration tasks by client service team
• Report of any potential risks in either systems or processes
• Identification of any inconsistencies in processes and ways of working
• Recommendations prioritised by time, cost & effort for tasks based outside current systems and/or development needed to improve the efficiency of tasks
• Apprenticeship specific: understanding the end to end activities and tasks within the apprenticeship service function to get a sense of what actual/optimum output is/should
