The main aim is to provide you with an appreciation of the topical issues associated with running a modern engineering business. The Group Project element of the module provides an opportunity for you to adopt the role of a member of an Industrial Management team. Working in groups of four to six, you are required to select an existing engineering-based company; this could be an aircraft / automotive / mechanical / Petro-chemical / process / electrical-electronics / manufacturer / civil engineering / airline / airport operator sector or any company with a strong engineering and management base.
