You are the pricing analyst and have been tasked with providing a competitive pricing quote for a large
commercial prospective customer ACME Inc. They are a manufacturer that uses gas to power their
machinery. The customer uses gas for this process pretty consistently throughout the year. Model the
profitability of the customer, including costs and revenues and indicate considerations to the
establishment of the price point. Candidate should indicate key inputs, assumptions, and outputs while
walking panel through the analysis.
(Part B)
During contract negotiations with ACME Inc, the customer purchases a second facility they would like
included in their quote. The location is a large warehouse that uses gas exclusively for heating purposes
in the winter. Although it uses roughly the same amount of gas annually as the first location, the shape
of the usage month will be different month by month. Model the new profitability of the customer,
including costs and revenues and indicate considerations to the establishment of the price point.
