Time Motion Analysis for Workflow Optimisation
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I aim to conduct a thorough, analytical assessment of our current workflow and transform it into a more streamlined and effective process. The core of the assignment involves a combination of traditional time-and-motion analysis with established Lean and Industrial Engineering methods, yet the ultimate objective remains straightforward: achieving measurable process improvement. You will start by outlining the existing situation, gathering cycle-time data, identifying bottlenecks, and highlighting steps that do not add value. From there, I require clear and actionable recommendations—consider revised layouts, sequence adjustments, or standard-work documents—that can be executed seamlessly without interrupting daily operations. Please share details about projects where you have successfully achieved significant improvements in workflow efficiency. Tools like value stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams, MTM/UAS, and Kaizen methodologies are highly encouraged; your proficiency with these will accelerate our progress. Outcomes • Comprehensive time-and-motion report with detailed annotations and findings • Workflow map for the future state emphasising reductions in waste • Comprehensive action plan outlining prioritised improvement steps along with anticipated ROI metrics I will deem the project complete once the new workflow is thoroughly documented, the staff has been trained on the changes, and initial KPIs indicate the anticipated increase in efficiency.
