Sydney Telehealth BA for Scheduling

Job ID: 40532152

Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD

Our Sydney-based telehealth clinic is about to overhaul its appointment-scheduling experience, and a local Business Analyst will drive the requirements phase from start to finish. The assignment centres on improving patient experience, with special emphasis on smoother appointment booking, automated reminders, and easy rescheduling through an online portal.

You will spend time on-site with clinical staff, admin teams, and a small test group of patients to map existing workflows, uncover pain points, and translate them into clear, developer-ready artefacts. Expect to facilitate workshops, sketch user journeys, and capture both functional and non-functional needs. Jira and Confluence are already in place for issue tracking and documentation, so familiarity with those tools—as well as basic BPMN or similar diagramming—will help you hit the ground running.

Deliverables
• Current-state and future-state process maps
• Prioritised requirements backlog (user stories with acceptance criteria)
• Business Requirements Document plus high-level functional specs covering online booking, reminder logic, and rescheduling flows
• Risk, dependency, and compliance notes relevant to Australian privacy regulations
• A concise roadmap that development and QA can follow over the next sprints

Acceptance criteria: each user story must trace back to an identified pain point, include measurable success indicators (e.g., “reduce average booking time by 30 seconds”), and be reviewed with clinical stakeholders before sign-off.

On-site discovery sessions will take place in Sydney CBD and western suburbs during normal business hours; remote follow-ups are fine once the core information is captured.
