Business Analyst for SaaS Development – Long-Term Opportunity
Location: Remote (within ±3 hours of Sydney time zone)
Commitment: 30-38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

SalesLogs is a growing SaaS business based in Sydney, looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. We are seeking a professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience working with SaaS companies to support our product development process.
Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for writing detailed software feature documentation that will feed into the development pipeline. The role also involves close collaboration with our development team during the implementation phase, providing clarifications and ensuring the expected outcomes align with the documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive software feature documentation for development teams.
• Support developers by answering questions related to documentation and expected feature outcomes.
• Utilise Notion extensively for documentation and project management.
• Use Figma (at least at an intermediate level) for user flows, wireframes, and diagrams.
• Understand code and be tech-savvy, capable of bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
• Work with Microsoft DevOps to track development progress and requirements.
• Design user flows and diagrams to enhance documentation clarity and structure.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a SaaS company.
• Strong communication skills with business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Prepared to handle advanced complexity in documentation.
• Strong expertise in Notion for documentation.
• Intermediate proficiency in Figma for UI/UX diagrams and workflows.
• Technical understanding of code to effectively communicate with developers.
• Experience with Microsoft DevOps for backlog management and tracking.
• Ability to create structured documentation that simplifies complex builds.
• Availability within ±3 hours of Sydney’s time zone.
