I wish to source an academic to write a mini thesis. The topic is centered around AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE DEPLOYMENT COST OF E-SIM TECHNOLOGY IN NAMIBIA. CASE STUDY: MTC NAMIBIA.
MTC Namibia is the country's biggest mobile network operator. They have recently embarked on a project to adopt the eSIM technology. I would like for someone help me in writing a mini thesis.
The Background and problem statement have been outlined below:
Background of the Study
The researcher will mention the success story related to the successful implementation of the eSIM model in a first-world developed country. This section will also cover an African success story (i.e Kenya and South Africa) before mentioning the status quo of Namibia. The study will also look to highlight the implementation steps taken by MTC Namibia in adopting the eSIM technology. The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the deployment costs in terms of infrastructure undertaken by the aforementioned countries.
The data will be used as a basis to construct a comparative analysis between countries such as Kenya/SA and Namibia.
Lastly, the study will look to understand how far along MTC Namibia has come in fully adopting the eSIM technology before outlining why Telecom has not yet done so.
This research is significant for several reasons:
• The findings will support mobile network operators, such as Telecom Namibia (TN) Mobile, who are yet to implement the technology, in understanding the financial and operational advantages and challenges of transitioning to e-SIM technology.
• The research will contribute to the ongoing dialogue around telecom reform and digital transformation in Namibia and the Southern African region, supporting efforts to foster stronger economic cooperation through affordable and seamless communication.
MTC Namibia and TN Namibia are the two players in the network operator space in Namibia.
As the employer of the freelancer, I will be providing stats from MTC and any information the freelancer would require in crafting the document. I hope the brief is clear.
