Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
Recruitment Exercise
The exercise is an example of a typical data analysis and presentation task that you will be working on. It is designed to test the following skills: Research, analysis, technical ability and attention to detail. This should be considered when completing the exercise and presenting the findings.
BRIEF:
Accompanying this brief is an Excel spreadsheet. Contained within it is a typical data sample that we might receive from a client or a client's representative. It consists of utility data for a number of buildings, all owned by a single pseudo organisation.
The primary objective is to compare the energy performance of the different properties - over time and against each other. As a secondary objective the client also wants to know what their Greenhouse Gas footprint is for these properties for the calendar year 2018.
OUTPUTS:
There are two outputs expected:
1) A tool that can be used to manipulate the data and at least meets the primary and secondary objectives. 2) A brief client-ready presentation in ppt format of the findings from the candidate’s analysis
GUIDANCE:
1)The candidate will need to research greenhouse gas emissions factors for gas and electricity. They will be asked to explain where they were sourced, and why they were selected.
-The tool should be created using Excel and should demonstrate the use of formulae and charts.
-The tool must cope with data growth, and the candidate will be asked to demonstrate how this will work. - The candidate will be asked to explain any errors in the data and how they tackled them.
2)The presentation should be simple, clear and client-ready, and presented in a way which the candidate would use to present to a real client.
