I’m ready to open a café in Pune, but before signing a lease I need solid, data-driven answers on two fronts: where in the city my concept will thrive and what that concept should look like to resonate with families and young couples who want a relaxed, casual meeting place.
Here’s the scope I’d like you to cover:
• Location intelligence: map promising neighbourhoods, high-street clusters, malls and mixed-use developments, then rank them on footfall, purchasing power, rental trends, parking, visibility and proximity to competitors.
• Competitor & gap analysis: profile existing cafés, bakeries and casual hangouts within each shortlisted micro-market, highlighting unmet needs or overcrowded niches.
• Concept refinement: recommend the specific café format, size range, menu direction and ambience that fit my target audience and each viable location; please ground suggestions in local consumer behaviour, spends per head and day-part traffic patterns.
• Financial snapshot: provide ballpark CAPEX/OPEX, break-even timeline and sensitivity to rent escalation for the top three sites.
Deliverables accepted as an interactive report or slide deck with maps (GIS, Google My Business heat-maps or similar), spreadsheets and concise executive summary.
