Project Risk Management Support
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for a consultant who can take full ownership of the risk element within my wider project-management effort. The core need is to build and maintain a living risk register that captures financial, operational and compliance exposures, ranks them by probability and impact, and then turns the analysis into practical mitigation actions I can track.
You will start by reviewing my current project plan and underlying assumptions, interview key stakeholders, and surface any hidden issues that might threaten delivery. From there I expect a clear framework—preferably aligned with ISO 31000 or a similarly recognised standard—that lets us monitor risk over time without slowing the team down. If you prefer specific tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, MS Project with add-ins, or even a well-structured Excel model, that works for me as long as version control is rock solid.
Additionally, this project requires immediate schedule recovery efforts to address slipped baselines. Critical path analysis and schedule compression techniques are essential to bring the project back on track.
I will consider the engagement complete once I receive:
• A populated, prioritised risk register with recommended responses and owners
• A concise risk-management procedure we can slot into the existing PM handbook
• One walkthrough session to hand over the model and ensure my team can update it confidently
