Sales Analysis Dashboard using Power BI

Developed an interactive Sales Analysis Dashboard in Microsoft Power BI to gain actionable insights into business performance across multiple dimensions such as category, state, city, and payment modes.

The dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of total revenue (2M+), total quantity sold (5615), and total transaction amount (438K). It analyzes sales performance across key product categories including Electronics, Clothing, and Furniture, highlighting revenue contribution, quantity sold, and average revenue per category.

Key features of the project include:

Category-wise Analysis: Identified Electronics as the highest revenue-generating category (~819K), followed by Clothing and Furniture.
Geographical Insights: Highlighted top-performing cities like Indore and Mumbai, and analyzed state-wise profit trends including both top and loss-making regions.
Sub-category Breakdown: Deep dive into product segments such as Printers, Sarees, and Chairs to identify high-performing items.
Payment Mode Analysis: Evaluated customer preferences with COD being the most used payment method (~35%).
Profitability Insights: Compared top and bottom states based on profit to identify growth opportunities and loss areas.
Dynamic Filtering: Enabled slicers for Category, City, State, and Sub-category for interactive data exploration.

This project demonstrates strong skills in data cleaning, data modeling, DAX calculations, and dashboard design, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions efficiently.
