The assignment centres exclusively on operational risk—market and credit exposures are handled elsewhere—so your focus will be on the people, processes, systems, and external events that could disrupt day-to-day activities and, ultimately, profitability.

Here’s what I’m after:

• Map out our current operational workflows and highlight weak spots
• Quantify potential loss ranges using proven methods (scenario analysis, historical loss data, stress testing in Excel or Python—your choice)
• Prioritise risks in a clear heat-map and explain the rationale behind each rating
• Recommend practical controls and mitigation strategies that balance cost with impact
• Package everything in a concise report backed by supporting spreadsheets or code so I can replicate the calculations later
