The Manitoba College of Family Physicians (MCFP) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to supporting family physicians, residents, and medical learners in Manitoba. Our mission is to advance the practice of family medicine and enhance the well-being of our members. With a commitment to continuous improvement and member-focused initiatives, we are seeking proposals for comprehensive strategic planning services.
Objective:
The primary goal of this RFP is to identify and engage a qualified consulting firm to facilitate a full 360-degree strategic planning process for MCFP. The strategic plan will serve as a roadmap to guide the organization's growth, enhance member engagement, and align with our mission and vision.
Scope of Work:
The selected consultant will be responsible for:
Needs Assessment:
Conduct a thorough needs assessment to understand the current challenges, opportunities, and aspirations of MCFP.
Engage key stakeholders, including board members, staff, members, and external partners, through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
External Environmental Scan:
Analyze the external environment, including industry trends, legislative changes, and healthcare landscape shifts.
Identify potential opportunities and threats that may impact MCFP.
Internal Analysis:
Assess organizational strengths and weaknesses, including financial health, governance structures, and operational efficiency and opportunities.
Member and Stakeholder Surveys:
Develop and execute surveys to gather insights from members and stakeholders.
Analyze survey results to understand expectations, needs, and areas for improvement.
Focus Groups:
Conduct focus group sessions with diverse stakeholder groups, including members, residents, and partners.
Facilitate discussions to extract qualitative insights and perspectives.
Strategic Planning Workshops:
Design and facilitate strategic planning workshops with the Board, staff, to review our vision mission and values
Develop interactive sessions to encourage collaboration and idea generation to develop strategic goals.
Hold a session with the leadership and staff of the MCFP to carve our a dashboard or deliverables to meet goals.
SWOT Analysis:
Facilitate a comprehensive SWOT analysis, incorporating findings from the needs assessment, environmental scan, and internal analysis.
Vision and Mission Refinement:
Collaborate with MCFP leadership to refine and articulate the organization's vision and mission statements.
Goal Setting and Action Plans:
Work with stakeholders to set clear, measurable goals and develop action plans to achieve these goals.
Monitoring and Evaluation Framework:
Establish a monitoring and evaluation framework to track progress against strategic goals.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing assessment.
Create an attractive design that is member focused.
Proposal Submission:
Interested consultants or consulting firms are invited to submit a detailed proposal, including:
