We are looking for a freelancer who can find manufacturers of the following product categories in India:
Cotton Bags / Cotton Tote Bags
Cotton Towels
Blankets (made of wool or cashmere / high quality)
The supplier should be a manufacturer, not a trading company and recently have passed one of the two social factory audits:
SA 8000
SEDEX
The factory should also have an ISO9001 certification from an renowned testing agency.
We expect a list with 10-20 suppliers per category as a result, all of which should provide their recent certifications as a PDF for us to check together with their full contact details.
If more, also OK.
Suppliers should ideally be based around Kolakate (Preference 1), Mumbai (Preference 2) or Delhi (Preference 3)
If you find out that most suppliers specialized in one product category are to be found in or around one specific city (even if none of the three cities mentioned), then please focus on this city so we can visit them all in one trip instead of having to travel all across the country.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in market research methodologies
- Knowledge of the Home Textile & Bags industry in INdia
- Experience in conducting research in the Indian market
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and identify trends
- Ability to gather information on suppliers and manufacturers in the industry
