Logistics Costing -- 2
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am looking for a professional to help me reduce last mile transport / logistics cost per order. This requires an analysis of the factors impacting cost, specifically a Root Cause Analysis.
The goal is to reduce TCPO for these branches by 20% in 3 months for two centers / branches attached in the sheet.
To get you started you would have reviewed last mile operational metrics for the two
branches and a pattern emerged. While comparing the data in both the branches in
Kenya, you realized that the percentage of failed deliveries is particularly high (for e.g.).
Unfortunately, the data doesn’t reveal why the deliveries fail at a high rate.
Your task is to come up with a strategy to reduce the TCPO by identifying all the
problems and gaps using data. List down all the issues in priority order with supporting
data and plausible reasons.
Deliverables:
1. Conceptualize an approach on how you would get to the bottom of the top 3
issues you have identified.
2. In the next step, you can make assumptions about the different causes of
problems you have identified. Pick one or two of them and design a solution that
could address these causes.
3. Specify how you would measure success for the solution(s).
