Job Description:
As a Junior Financial Analyst at our e-commerce company, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain comprehensive financial models. These models will encompass a 13-week cash flow projection and an operational sales and expense budget for the upcoming 12 months. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will play a critical role in assisting our management team in making informed financial decisions and steering the company toward continued success.
Responsibilities:
Cash Flow Projection: Develop a detailed 13-week cash flow model that accurately forecasts the company's cash position, considering incoming revenue, outgoing expenses, and potential fluctuations.
Sales and Expense Budget: Create a comprehensive operational sales and expense budget for the next 12 months. This budget should be based on thorough analysis, taking into account historical data, current trends, and potential growth opportunities.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track financial health. Regularly report on KPIs and financial metrics to management, offering insights and recommendations.
Data Collection and Validation: Gather and validate financial data from various sources to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial models and reports.
Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and operations, to understand their requirements and incorporate relevant data into financial models.
Model Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain financial models as new data becomes available or business conditions change. Ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Scenario Analysis: Assist in performing scenario analysis to evaluate the potential impact of various business decisions, market changes, or economic trends on the company's financial performance.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or financial modeling is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other financial modeling software.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
