The course is scheduled; to offer the student an entire project structure and organization scheme oriented to their feasibility of execution, focused on the company; The feasibility of achieving the goals of a project is based on the strategic guidelines of the company, which in turn is based on the general objectives set; that form the body of the strategic plan document; that outlines the entire analysis of the internal and competitive environment that facilitates the construction of specific objectives; which in turn forms part of the body of strategies to be carried out and the strategic map that integrates all areas, specific objectives, goals and indicators, as a guide to measure and evaluate the course of actions of the strategic plan.
The scope of this module; is to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the business strategic planning process in a simplified and practical way; Emphasis is placed on the importance of conceiving adequate planning; with a structure of simple, sufficient and easily measured objectives; and the strategies designed to achieve those objectives; inserted in a strategic map aimed at achieving the company's guidelines.
The purpose of this text is to compile the essence of this knowledge; That is, it tries to discover in clear, simple and concise language the fundamental concepts, facts, ideas, processes and procedures about strategic planning, which all executives at any level should know and put into practice.
The idea that every manager should have a basic understanding of both the concept and practice of formal strategic planning is based on countless observations about management and success not only in business, but in the way of govern (governance) of public officials.
Upon completion of this module, the student will have sufficient skills to participate and guide business organizations in the configuration and development of their strategic plan.
