Integrated Crop Management with pesticides, fungicides, and liquid fertilizers to be applied by agricultural drone in Tasmania, Australia
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
**1. Objective: **
The primary objective of this project is to develop an integrated crop management plan for various crops grown in Tasmania, including but not limited to fruits (berries, cherries, apples, and pears), nuts, vegetables, viticulture, and field crops (wheat, barley, seeds, poppies, hemp, pyrethrum, hops, and medicinal marijuana). This includes the identification of the best time to apply pesticides, fungicides, and liquid fertilizers, as well as specifying the chemicals and fertilizers used, along with their recommended dosages.
**2. Crop Identification and Characteristics: **
a. Conduct an exhaustive survey to identify and document all major crops grown in Tasmania.
b. Provide detailed characteristics, growth patterns, and environmental requirements for each identified crop.
**3. Best Agricultural Practices: **
a. Research and compile best agricultural practices for each crop type, considering soil conditions, climate variations, and specific cultivation requirements.
b. Provide guidelines on optimal planting and harvesting times, including the recommended months for each crop.
**4. Pesticide, Fungicide, and Liquid Fertilizer Application: **
a. Identify common pests and diseases affecting each crop, specifying their life cycles and vulnerabilities.
b. Research and recommend suitable pesticides, fungicides, and liquid fertilizers for effective crop management.
c. Develop a monthly schedule outlining the best times to apply pesticides, fungicides, and liquid fertilizers for each crop.
**5. Chemical and Fertilizer Selection and Dosage: **
a. Identify the most effective chemicals for pest and disease management and liquid fertilizers for crop nutrition.
b. Specify the recommended dosage for pesticide, fungicide, and liquid fertilizer application, considering factors such as crop growth stage and nutritional requirements.
c. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety standards in the selection and application of chemicals and liquid fertilizers.
**6. Soil Health and Nutrient Management: **
a. Conduct soil analyses to assess nutrient levels and pH for different crops.
b. Provide recommendations for soil health improvement and nutrient management, integrating the use of liquid fertilizers with other crop management practices.
**7. Reporting and Documentation: **
a. Provide detailed documentation on the selection and application of pesticides, fungicides, and liquid fertilizers, including dosage recommendations.
