Incoming Materials Inspection System
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I want to tighten control over the parts and raw materials that arrive at my manufacturing plant, so I’m looking for a quality engineer who can build a robust incoming-materials inspection program from the ground up. Your job is to analyse what we buy today, identify the critical-to-quality characteristics for each item, and translate that analysis into clear inspection criteria, sampling plans (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 or comparable), and easy-to-follow work instructions. The environment is a mainstream manufacturing line, so any solution you create must slot smoothly into our existing ISO 9001 framework and keep production flow moving.
You will have access to current supplier specifications, recent non-conformance reports, and our ERP data. I expect you to use industry-standard tools—Excel for check-sheets, Minitab or equivalent for capability studies, and whatever simple dashboards you prefer for real-time visibility—while keeping everything lightweight enough for our technicians to adopt quickly.
Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• A documented inspection plan for every incoming part type, including sampling level, AQL, measurement method, and pass/fail limits.
• Printable inspection checklists and gauge instructions that match our equipment.
• A template for daily summary reporting that feeds straight into our NCR log.
• A brief hand-off session (video or live) that trains the team and clarifies any questions.
If you have a proven track record in product inspection for manufacturing and can demonstrate practical results, I’m ready to get started.
