Freelance CFO Needed for High-Growth Startup (EdTech & Remote Staffing)
We are now seeking a Strategic & Hands-on Freelance CFO to lead our finance operations and guide us through our next stage of growth and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Develop and maintain financial models, investor decks, and MIS
Oversee cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization across multiple business units
Manage statutory compliance: GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and audit coordination
Support upcoming fundraising rounds with IRR, payback, runway, and valuation modeling
Build and implement internal controls and automation systems
Advise the CEO on cost optimization, pricing strategy, and revenue projections
What We're Looking For:
Qualified CA / CMA / MBA Finance with 5+ years of strategic finance experience
Prior experience working with startups or SMBs (especially EdTech, SaaS, or services)
Ability to work with limited data and build processes from scratch
Strong command over financial modeling, Excel, MIS dashboards
Experience in fundraising, investor due diligence, and VC reporting is a big plus
Available for 10–20 hours/week, flexible timing
