Feasibility Study for Community-Owned Commercial Hub

Job ID: 39191938

Budget: £5,000 – £10,000 GBP

I'm exploring a community ownership bid for a commercial property with the aim of creating a mixed-use building, combining welfare and enterprise services under one roof. This project involves developing a comprehensive business case as part of a feasibility study.

Key Responsibilities:
- We have already identified a suitable property with owner willing to consider community uses - your task would be to explore two options as part of the business case- purchasing or long term lease with option to buy at end of lease term .
- Develop a detailed business case outlining potential costs, revenues, and funding sources. We have already made contacts and can provide details of some agreements we have with community partners. We are unsure about likely income from a cafe/retail food and drinks hall of a certain size etc.
- Assess the feasibility of the project from both a financial and operational perspective.
- Provide recommendations on the best course of action.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in real estate and commercial property acquisition.
- Proven experience in developing business cases and feasibility studies.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
