FIFO Stock Expiry Date Analysis
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I'm looking for a data analyst who can help me understand the expiry dates of stock allocated to orders using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. This will involve identifying the oldest expiry date for each order and providing this information in a specified format.
If we use FIFO to allocate stock for each order, we want to know what expiry dates each order would have. (in some cases there may be multiple expiry dates attached and we would want to know the oldest.
I this expample best before dates = prodcution date + 70 days. Sometime these dates will be adjust a few days but the will always be in order.
if stock is not enough it should display not enough stock , once we have enough stock it should disappear
The ideal freelancer for this project should have:
- Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management
- Experience working with spreadsheets
- Ability to understand and implement FIFO stock allocation
Deliverables:
- A spreadsheet with a single column for the oldest expiry date for each order
- An additional column indicating the quantity for each order
Please note that you will not need to include any information on Order ID or Product ID. Your primary focus will be to identify and isolate the oldest expiry date for each order and present this in a clear and organized manner.
