Overview
We are launching an equipment rental business and require a professional, institutional-quality financial model built in Microsoft Excel.
We have an existing template that has been partially customized, but it is clunky and not scalable. We are seeking a finance-trained modeler to rebuild and professionalize the model for internal use and capital raising.
This model will be used for:
Raising equity funding
Applying for bank/SBA financing
Internal planning and budgeting
Objectives
Build a clean, scalable, investor-ready financial model that:
Is structured with a centralized Settings/Input tab
Allows simple addition/removal of:
Unit categories
Individual equipment units
Operating expenses
Personnel
Automatically flows into:
Revenue projections
Expense schedules
Capex & debt schedules
Depreciation
Integrated financial statements
Dashboard outputs
The model must be intuitive for non-Excel-expert partners.

Technical Requirements
We are specifically looking for someone with:
Corporate finance / investment banking / FP&A / PE background
Advanced Excel modeling skills
Strong accounting understanding
Experience building capital-intensive business models
