Data Manager

The ideal skills for this role include:

● Minimum 7 years of experience
● Prior experience in data engineering and data warehousing projects
● Deep understanding of product management methodology and practices
● Strong understanding of a variety of Agile approaches e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
with the ability to use appropriately where needed
● Advanced user of JIRA and Confluence

● Good understanding of project management methodology and techniques
● Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organisational skills
● Able to assess complex tasks, apply a logical framework and present a compelling
case for change
● Strong stakeholder management skills
● Excellent coaching / mentoring skills
● A highly collaborative work style and the ability to work in a team environment
● Able to manage conflicting priorities
● Advanced Google Suite skills
● Adaptable and comfortable working in areas of significant ambiguity
● Experience of being able to challenge and influence decisions
● Pragmatic and flexible, with a willingness to take on different roles and
responsibilities in order to successfully deliver a project
● Experience within subscriptions businesses, the Publishing or Media industry would
be beneficial
